misc summer wizz
i don't balance my checkbook. now that i'm living in this here real world and will soon be getting a big girl paycheck i need to take on grownup responsibilities.
heck, i'm listening to eric clapton right now. layla, and swinging my head side to side and side to side. as of late all that has been satisfying me musically is 60s and 70s rock. i wish i would have grabbed some of circusfreak's velvet underground mp3s before we closed shop. i need to hear walk on the wild side, sigh.
my dad is good. he can fuck up like everyone, but in general i'd say my dad is rad. he's pretty emotional for a dad, and he'll try and push you to share emotions too. always asking the 'how do you feel' questions and always trying to get everyone to open up. it rarely works, and my brother and i will mostly just roll our eyes and make fun. in my family if we insult you it just means love love love.
mtv did the BEST show! 'true life i'm a high school senior' PLEASE please try to watch..it is two hours long and pure joy. this girl was on her way to her prom and her mom pulled her aside and said, "girls always ovulate on prom night" i mean i laughed right out loud as the girl being told this bit of wisdom screamed, "mawhmeee!" good shit.
