so.. our dish washer has up and stopped doing its job (washing our dishes) i called up our sweet chinese landlords to tell them something is funked up with the machine.

hsi and shing hear my story and say, 'ok we go buy another and put it in very soon.'

what?

no coming over to make sure i'm not just pressing the wrong button? no giving silly ol' me some idears at how to fix the buggar?

and another thing. our heating bill has been more than it ever was in the summer. is it time to plastic wrap the windows?
